Mobile App Helping Officials in the Fight Against Opioid Overdoses

A Massachusetts police department is going mobile in the hopes of reducing the amount of opioid deaths in the Bay State.

Arlington police announced Tuesday that it has begun using an app called The Overdose Detecting Mapping Application, which allows first responders to enter data into the app’s system when they respond to drug overdoses.
