AUTOMATED TRACKING SYSTEM (HATS)
HATS
is network server based computer software system designed
by and for criminal justice and treatment agency staff working
with the hardcore substance abusing offender population. It
allows for the entry and sharing of client information on
progress across the different organizations, while still maintaining
all of the federal protections for confidentiality. Using
HATS, criminal justice and treatment agencies can perform
and record all of their internal operations such as: case
management and supervision; referrals and assessments; sanction
management; drug testing; and reporting of services received.
