RESULTS
The
Washington Baltimore HIDTA Treatment/Criminal Justice Initiative
has completed several evaluation reports through a subcontractor, the Institutefor Behavior and Health
(IBH, Inc.).These comprehensive
reports are just one way of measuring program performance, effectiveness,
and efficiency, among the many other performance measurement protocols
that the Treatment/Criminal Justice Program employs.
Listed above (to the right) are the reports completed for the
program thus far.
- Technical Report 1997 – completed in 2000 for the 1997 and 1998 cohort of HIDTA assisted individuals.
- Technical Report 5-31-2002 - completed for the year 2000 cohort of HIDTA assisted individuals.
- Technical Report 8-31-2004 - completed for the year 2001 cohort of HIDTA assisted individuals.
- The 2004 Qualitative Study of the Effects of HIDTA-funded Substance Abuse Treatment for Calendar year 2001 10-12-2005.
- 2001 Quantitative Report Presentation - completed for CY 2001 cohort of HIDTA assisted individuals.
- Technical Report 10-18-2007 – completed for the 2002 and 2003 cohort of HIDTA assisted individuals.
Presently the program is working on a quantitative evaluation for 2004, 2005, and 2006 cohort of HIDTA assisted individuals.
The program has also completed seven modified Cost Benefit Analyses of Treatment/Criminal Justice initiatives in the District of Columbia; the cities of Arlington, Fairfax and Alexandria, Virginia; Prince George's County, Charles County, and Baltimore County, Maryland.
The program will continue to do program reviews of HIDTA funded Treatment/Criminal Justice initiatives. These reviews will continue to assess the progress of the initiative towards performance targets and provide technical assistance when necessary.
