
Nine-month investigation leads to large drug seizure in Shenandoah Valley
The Northwest Virginia Regional Drug Gang Task Force has concluded a nine-month investigation with a large seizure of drugs in Front Royal.
Through the course of the investigation, officers learned of vape shops operating in the town of Front Royal that were selling marijuana and THC vapes.
On Jan. 15, officers executed multiple search warrants at businesses and residences in the town of Front Royal and Warren County along with a business in Prince William County. As a result of the operation, the task force seized 19,032 products containing THC with a street value of $932,602. In addition, three firearms and $16,033 in U.S. currency were also recovered.
No charges have been placed, but the case remains active and ongoing.
