
Task force seizes almost $38k worth of drugs and firearms in Page County
LURAY, Va. (WHSV) – The Luray Police Department and Page County Sheriff’s Office led an investigation that resulted in the seizure in nearly $38,000 worth of drugs and firearms in Page County.
According to the LPD, both agencies were assisted by the Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Culpeper Field Office, Drug Enforcement Section, and members of the Northwest Virginia Regional Drug and Gang Task Force to executed a narcotics search warrant without incident in Page County on March 12. The following items were seized during the search:
- 124 grams of Methamphetamine (street value $5,828)
- 2,268 grams of marijuana (street value $22,680)
- One gram of Psilocybin mushrooms (street value $37)
- Two dosage units of Molly (street value $60)
- One dosage unit of LSD (street value $8)
- Nine firearms (street value $4,500)
- $4,856 in U.S. currency
In total, the value of the seized items is $37,969, the LPD release said.
